Wearing compression socks has always been our arsenal for both comfort and style, whether they have become part of our daily lives or we use them for therapeutic purposes. From the moment you get dressed for the day's work in the morning to the moment you take them off before bed (or as directed by your doctor), compression socks are here to save you.
Now is the time to take good care of them too. Sounds like reciprocating the love, right? Here's how to keep them in pristine condition!
After removing compression socks, wash them every night to prevent odor and bacteria build-up.
Wash them separately. If you are going to wash them with other clothes, make sure they are the same color.
At 30 or 40 degrees Fahrenheit in the washing machine, spin your compression stock at no more than 1200 rpm.
Wash your compression socks gently without using detergent with bleach or fabric softener. After washing, do not leave them in the sun and rather let them air dry.
Such methods can help in regaining their original elasticity and compression. When you use these methods, the condition of your compression socks will remain as if they were purchased new.
